Borderland 3 was recently announced earlier this year. The game serves as a sequel to the 2012 Borderlands 2, developed by 2K Games. The action role-playing game first showcased at E3. While games are usually pushed at consoles, later in the year, the game was confirmed for the Google Stadia as well, is available with the platform at launch.

From its announcement to know, the developers behind the title have revealed details about the gameplay and the modes available to players. Initially only Proving Grounds Circle of Slaughter we hinted. Today, in an article by WCCFTECH, it seems that the developers have pushed out more information about the game.

According to the article published on the site, three additional gaming modes have been discussed. These are; Guardian Rank, True Vault Hunter Mode and Mayhem Mode.

Guardian Rank

Similar to the ranking system in previous games, the Guardian Rank mode opens up the idea of evolution for the gamers. Players, when playing, can earn tokens by earning experience. Once one collects enough tokens by filling up his/her Guardian Rank XP bar, he/she can unlock bonus stats. While these are similar to stats increment by experience, these are bonus features and unlock more attributes.

True Vault Hunter Mode (TVHM)

Introduced as a new game mode to the title, it features a different approach. While the standard mode, leading to conquests is till there, TVHM welcomes players with more of a challenge. Players would face opponents tougher than from the regular mode and therefore would get better stats increment. Not to mention, the TVHM would feature better loot. What this would mean is that users can get better equipment which is usable in both the modes.

Mayhem Mode

Lastly, the Mayhem Mode is announced. The mode features a handicap kind of playing experience. Players can unlock the mode after completing the campaign. Afterwards, it would allow users to face opponents with increased health. Though what this would result in is better loot and more cash earned. Not only that, but there is also a Mayhem Mod. It would apply on the player by randomising modifiers. What these would do is alter the player according to the visiting planet and therefore change the playing experience.

The title is full of endless gameplay modes and conquests. It is set to release on the 13th of September, the coming month.
