Google Pixel 4 lineup is certainly one of the most awaited phones of this year. Being the next flagship series from Google the upcoming Pixel 4 phones are in leaks and rumors. With each passing day, we have something new and exciting regarding the upcoming Google phones. Usually ahead of the official announcement fans have to rely on the leaks and rumors but that’s not the case with the Pixel 4.

Google pixel phones traditionally appear ahead of the official announcement. Mostly the devices appear in subways or trains in Canada. Recently 9to5Google shared a hands-on image of Pixel 4 which also showcases the rear design. This year Google surprised everyone by releasing the first official Pixel 4 render on the Twitter way ahead of the official announcement.

The leaked render didn’t reveal many details instead only highlight the rear square camera box. The image is pretty much in line with the Google official shared image. Fortunately, Google officially shared the first look of Pixel 4 which reveals the rear design in full glory. The Pixel 4 rear design isn’t a mystery anymore but still many details are still in the dark. Despite the fact, the Google Pixel 4 official announcement is still a few months away but the company wants to simply put an end to speculation regarding the rear design.

Last year Huawei introduced a square camera box with the Mate 20 series. It was certainly a new placement for the rear cameras. From what we heard so far two big giants Google and Apple are gearing to introduce square box cameras setup for the upcoming flagships. The iPhone 11 new leaks indicate multiple cameras on the rear. The Pixel 4 official image confirms square cameras setup on the top left corner.

Since the original Pixel phone, Google opted for a two-tone finish design. Despite having best-in-class cameras, well-optimized software, and top-tier hardware the Pixel lineup didn’t stand out amongst the crowd due to the dated design. However this year Google took a huge jump by ditching the old design in favor of a futuristic approach.

Today we will round up all the details we know so far regarding Google’s upcoming Pixel 4 phones. We are hopeful this roundup will provide a good view regarding what to expect from Google’s upcoming finest phones.

Release date

Traditionally the Google Pixel phones are launched in the second of the year. Google usually took the stage in October to wrap off the cover from new Pixel phones. This year once again Google likely will unveil the Pixel 4 phones in October with a release in early November.

As far as the pricing is a concern with each new iteration smartphones manufacturers increases the price tag. This year Google Pixel 4 lineup is expected to have even better and premium design language, for sure the prices will climb. The Pixel 4 XL model is expected to cost around $1000.

To attract a different kind of buyers the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be available in a number of configurations with different RAM and storage options. We can expect more details will appear as the official launch gets closer.

Thanks to Google official tweet, we are now well aware of what to expect from the Pixel 4 in terms of rear design. The MadebyGoogle official account recently tweeted Pixel 4 render. The image confirms the Pixel 4 will have large square cameras setup on the top left side. Ahead of Google’s tweet, the Pixel 4 similar design appeared in leaks.

Finally, Google is now ready to adopt dual rear cameras setup. Last year Google opted dual selfie snappers for the Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 4 will be the first Pixel phone with dual rear cameras. There is a sensor at the top of dual cameras in the square whereas the LED flashlight is below the cameras in the square box.

From the look of the things, the Pixel 4 features an aluminum chassis with glass covering the rear side. The glass rear is flat from the edges. The power button is on the right edge. Another prominent aspect of the design is lack of fingerprint scanner on the rear. So far all Pixel phones have a circular fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It seems likely Google is taking one step ahead here as well by introducing under-glass fingerprint scanner.

The render showcase the Pixel 4 square camera box has dual rear snappers. The leaked renders suggest the Pixel 4 XL could have triple rear sensors. As far as the front-facing design is a concern it is still in the dark whether Google will retain the old thick notch at the top or could adopt the latest punch-hole display.

Considering the latest trend of thinner bezels, most likely the Pixel 4 lineup will have bottom firing speaker. By releasing the image ahead of the announcement, Google can later claim the company didn’t follow the design of the next iPhone.
